Rare interwar Estonian decoration, enamelled cross with eagle and sword

Condition:
Fair to good overall condition. Visible enamel cracks, losses, and chipping on both obverse and reverse. The ribbon is faded, worn, and cut on the back. Please refer to the detailed photographs for exact condition.
Historical and Collectible Significance:
Instituted in 1928, the White Cross of the Home Guard (Kaitseliidu Valgerist) was awarded to members of the Estonian Defence League for outstanding service and dedication. The date 11 XI 1918 commemorates the founding of the Estonian Defence League following the end of World War I.
