An iconic piece of Balkan and royal orders history. The Order of St. Sava was one of Serbia’s most prestigious decorations, awarded for significant contributions to religion, education, culture, and humanitarian service. The Commander class, worn around the neck with ribbon, is particularly scarce.

Enamel is vibrant and mostly intact with minor age-appropriate wear
Silver shows attractive patina; no major damage
Original neck ribbon present, with visible folds and light use
Hallmarks remain crisp and legible
Produced by G.A. Scheid, a renowned Viennese firm that manufactured for several European royal courts, this Commander decoration is authentic, early, and highly collectible. Hallmarked silver examples are increasingly rare, especially in this condition and with original ribbons.
An outstanding, museum-quality Commander badge of the Order of St. Sava, with full hallmarks and excellent presentation. A true gem for collectors of royal orders, Serbian or Austro-Hungarian decorations, or pre-WWI European insignia.
